Participation of Stavros Vlizos, Associate Professor of the Department of Archives, Library Science and Museology of the Ionian University and Director of the Research Team  of the AMYKLAION Amykles Research Project at the Digital Conference "Twilight of the Gods. Greek Cult Places and the Transition to Late Antiquity", 15-16 October 2021, with the presentation entitled: "«… εἰς τὴν Λακεδαιμονίων πόλιν, ὅτε ὀνείρατι πειθόμενος τῷ Ἀμυκλαίῳ θεῷ ἐφοίτησεν
εὔξασθαι» (Himerios or. 72): The Amyklaion near Sparta in Late Antiquity".

The conference co-organized by the Athens Greek Religion Seminar and the Roman Seminar, under the auspices of the Swedish Institute at Athens and the German Archaeological Institute at Athens, with the kind support by the Fritz-Thyssen Stiftung.
