27-05-2026 13:25The interdisciplinary approach required for systematic archaeological research, as adopted early on in the Amykles Research Project, inevitably leads to the production of high-quality scientific work. The result of our efforts is the four recent publications that are freely accessible in the relevant section of our website:

The research addresses both the interpretation of the sanctuary as a whole and issues concerning the integration of the Amyklaion into the historical and social context of ancient Sparta, as well as fieldwork, which is now a fundamental component of our efforts.
